About Manzanita Insurance

Our Mission: To offer the highest value consultative approach to asset protection and risk management through exactness, education, and ethics.

Who We Are

Our family has invested years of dedicated hard work to acquire the things we have, the memories we have created, and the goals we have in place for the future.  We could not have gotten to where we are without the support of friends and family.  We know that while your possessions, memories, and goals may be different than ours, you have worked just as hard for all of it.  But all of that means nothing if you are not properly protected and secure in your finances.  Our agency helps you design a personalized plan to protect the things you have, grow your wealth, and plan for the future.

Agent Vs. Broker

Insurance is not a “One-Size-Fits-All” concept.  Respected financial experts such as Dave Ramsey suggest working with an insurance broker to protect yourself with 5 basic kinds of insurance:

  • Homeowner’s/Renter’s
  • Car
  • Health
  • Life
  • Disability

These base categories can be customized to reflect your specific needs with coverage for ATV/UTVs, boats, pets, and business insurance.

Instead of just working for one company with limited offerings, we represent dozens of top rated insurers to help place your specific needs with a company that will provide you the greatest benefit at the best value.  As the needs of our community and clients expand and change, we strive to find the most innovative product offerings and best carriers and local partners to curate a plan that is right for you.

Protecting Assets While Growing Wealth

Most insurance agents will help you pick coverage based on the information you provide.  As both an Enrolled Agent who is a federally authorized tax practitioner empowered by the U.S. Department of the Treasury, and a licensed Insurance Agent, our approach includes a more intricate understanding of the tax implications of your financial decisions.  Our team can help you understand questions such as, "Are the hazard insurance policies for my primary home and rental property both deductible expenses on my tax return?"

Protecting yourself should not bankrupt you in premiums OR taxes, and alternatively should help you grow your wealth and asset values.  For this reason, we also offer fixed and market variable investments - with specific options to rollover that old 401K or ROTH IRA - and we can help you decide which strategy is right for your position in life.

Our Place In The Community

Coming from multiple generations of Prescott Area natives, my wife and I have chosen to continue to raise our two sons in this great community.  We actively support many great local organizations and non-profits, including Prescott Valley Performing Arts and Children’s Theater, Tri-City Prep High School, Liberty Traditional School, 100 Men Who Care-Northern Arizona, and the Prescott Astronomy Club.  If the weather is nice - which is most always the case in our little slice of Heaven - we can usually be found with friends at one of our many community events or out exploring the beauty of Northern Arizona.  We find quality of life by working to live, not living to work, and want to help you do the same.  Call/Text/Email to schedule an appointment to review you and your family’s needs.
